Well with binding with elastics or something that wraps around you, I haven't faced any harm or damage.

BINDING WITH TAPE however, has left me some scars, that's only because I somehow pinched my skin while putting it on. Pulling it off, it ripped off some skin and now I have some permanent brown spots on the area under my arm. x:
