Personally I like the whole concept of cosplaying OCs. I am a writer and the idea of dressing up as a character from one of my own stories sounds awesome. In fact I am cosplaying an OC for Friday of AnimeNext.

I think if the person wearing the cosplay is having fun, it doesn't matter what the cosplay is.
