Thanks! that's also a very good idea and it's kind of simular to what I first did. Namely use waterhose material, cut it into a round shape and pull some red fabric over it. It did look like a bangle but turned out much too bulky (sorry I don't have any pics of it...) so maybe your idea may lessen the bulkiness some bit ^^
