Well, in Canada, minimum wage is $10.25 an hour (after the giant-ass amount of deductions we get out of our pay and how much sales tax we pay on nearly everything, it's pretty much no more than in the US). It's not THAT big a step-up, compared to what you'd earn for minimum wage down in the US. (No disrespect, ImNotThatDrunk. You earn more than me, at currently nothing and previously, minimum wage for largely part-time work.:P)
