This is a hard one to review. As the pictures show the dress was in bad shape considering it was $275 total. She got all A reviews before too. I sent her a message saying that the dress was off and I didn't like the way it was done and she sent me this "The dress is made in the exact same way I made mine: it's mean to be big, and worn gathered in under the corset. If you wanted ties you should have told me: I can't read minds. Either way, this style is not made with ties. There were never any ties in either version, that's not the way it's made. The yellow on the shoulder is dressmaker's chalk, which I apparently forgot to wipe off in that one spot before I sent it. A wet paper towel will remove it no problem.
I can re-make the corset no problem if you send the first one back. It's serged, hence the "pulling". It's not going to come apart, my thread tension just appears to be a little off. I can fix that on the remake. I left the lacing out of the corset so you could choose what color you wanted. Any ribbon or cord will work fine.
In conclusion: I'll remake the corset as I promised when I sent it to you. Let me know how much more you want added to the back. I will not be remaking the dress. I'm sorry, but you not telling me exactly what you want is not a problem I take responsibility for. The dress is exactly the same as mine, just a little bigger and in different fabrics." She basicly blamed me for everything then turn around and said she was having a hard time and she sews alot and didn't notice, plus her machine is old too. After this post http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=275692
she admitted everything and sent back $200 refund. It seemed like there was alot of bad attitude and not alot of communication. Maybe it was a fluke or something, but I did not have a good experience with her and I didn't like that she told me it was MY fault for here bad seams and the dress being WAY to big.
Final Grade:I'm giving her a D- because of her other reviews being all A's but I will not commission from her nor would I recommend her, it left me wondering if I'd commission off here ever again.
