but at the cons i've been a apart of, if the cosplayer isn't wanting to make an effort to be in character for the shot, I won't put an effort in considering/framing/taking/PPing the shot. I definitely appreciate the folks who take a moment to strike a pose. Afterall, if the costume is built well, that person (odds are) won't have any issues getting in character momentarily.
