Anna Karenina is kiiiiind of a long book, but for those of you who haven't read Madame Bovary, you definitely should! She's an adulterer in 19th century European society ... what more could you ask for?  |
More of a plot and a character I can simpathize with...I hate Madame Bovary. It's clear that the author I'd think much of women. I liked her about as much as Scarlet O'Hara. A character that the author herself admitted to hating.
