Totally! All clip on ponytail are made the same way with the comb only fitted through the netting and the elastic that keeps the ponytail on tie once pulled our you have just the wefts sew to the netting.

You might even want to sew both ponytails to some padding to make it extra fluffy looking at the base. Kukkii-san has a tutorial on padding.
