So I am trying Japanese sticky egg rice, which is hot cooked rice with a raw egg stirred in so it's like a porridge and then some soy sauce is poured on top.
It's alright, nothing fantastic like people said it was. The egg ends up slightly cooked from using hot steamed rice and as I stirred it up it became kind of foamy. It's very creamy, and the longer it sits the more like 'cooked' egg it tastes.
It's not bad, but not the kind of comfort food I'd go reaching for all the time.
