Cosplay exists in the real world, and in the real world, you have to deal with history and racism and people's feelings. You can be green because real martians have not spent a large chunk of history being discriminated against by humans. Real people of colour have been by whites. You can't treat someone's race as a costume to put on for fun and think that no one will have a problem with that. Like Sam said, go re-read the responses to your other thread.
In B4 "They should be honored I'm making myself up to be their color".
Which is SUPER RACIST btw.
Stalk me on twitter! @theanarchris, THEN IMMEDIATELY REGRET YOUR DECISION!
"I think that a huge problem is people who read comics and don't understand the point of superheroes, which is to be the best version of yourself. You love Captain America? Well, you know what Captain America would never do? Go online anonymously and shit on a girl for having an opinion." -Brian Michael Bendis
