My poor beagle lost a toenail on friday. The vet covered it in antibiotic goo, wrapped it and put him on an antibiotic (because its a dog foot. They walk thru gross things). We took the bandage off today, but the vet said keep it covered with a bit of gauze and a sock, so his foot doesn't cold (his quick is kind of exposed, the cold would HURT).
None of my single socks would stay on, they were all too big. So, I bought a couple of pairs of infant sized socks at Walgreens.
