As for me I am still in petticoat land. Finished sewing all the loops and lace so at least I'm getting somewhere. Decided I'm not going to try and finish Kuroyukihime for Matsuri because I really want to take my time and make it look great. Will probably be bringing Mey-Rin instead.
Do any of you know the makeup used for geisha paint? It always looks so smooth and I want new paint for my face.

I know Ben Nye has a color name Geisha white, but I don't remember if it leaves it smooth. You can try and get someone to help you at Frankel Costume Store. Its near Downtown Houston at polk st. I know there a guy who can help you in choosing theater makeup for cosplay and stuff like that.
