Clarke published a collection of short stories
set in the same sort of alternate universe back in 2006; I haven't read it but it's on my list. I enjoyed Strange & Norrell, but the ending felt a little lackluster compared to the rich detail in the rest of the novel.
I'm usually disappointed by endings, though.
Also on my list: The Sparrow
by Mary Doria Russell.

We are not entitled to our opinions; we are entitled to our informed opinions. Without research, without background, without understanding, itís nothing. Itís just bibble-babble. Itís like a fart in a wind tunnel, folks." --Harlan Ellison
