"Fleece" and "wool" are two different things. Wool is a fiber, made from hair shorn from an animal (like sheep or alpaca), that can be used to make many different types of fabrics. Fleece is a specific type of textile with a plushie, pilly surface used to create warmth. (There such a thing as wool fleece, but most fleece is not wool, and most wool fabrics are not fleece.)
