It's been a long time since I saw that one, but I feel that they wasted Christopher Lee. The final showdown between Scaramanga and Bond could have been so much more. And don't even get me started on Nick Nack.
I don't know. I think Moore's Bond film are a victim of The Seventies more than anything. The Bond movies should be tongue-in-cheek, but not overly camp. They shouldn't, for example, have slide-whistle sound effects as a car flips in mid-air, or have a pigeon doing a double take as Bond drives by in a submersible car, or Bond skiing down the side of a mountain to the tune of "California Girls."
