Small update. So last night I got an email from EZCosplay (most likely because they saw the claim), and they stated that they will refund me within the week. An email is a legal binding contract. They are now legally required to follow through with that.
EDIT: Final update. They responded to paypal with a proposal to refund the full amount of the costume part. I accepted and it's over with now. It's sad that I had to go that far just to NOT be ripped off..
