Vincent will get glomped. However, if you carry the aura around you of "don't touch me " you may not. also if you want extreme messures, carry a sign that says "no glomping, i'm fragile". Be very very careful because your outfit (in your icon) looks awesome and I worry for you

To clarify a "glomp" is a tackle hug, usually done without permission. Often times they are hard and the person THROWS their weight on you. Many people have gotten injured/outfits messed up from these types of hugs.

I would also like to say that NEVER GLOMP A MASKED OR MASCOT COSPLAYER. We don't mind permission hugs, in fact we kinda expect them... but masks are horrible mufflers so if you yell out "white mushroom!" persay... we may not hear you. Also we have really bad vision, tunnel at best. We can't see from the corner of our eyes if someone is going to glomp us. Heck i had a friend who wore a mask that she couldn't even see parts of things right in front of her! We had to hold her hand when walking through a crowd. SHe got glomped from behind. She's pretty frail and almost fell onto the ground. That ruffled her for the rest of the day

Terrible XD but i saw someone glomping a panda bear (I'm not sure from which series but possibly not from Ranma1/2)

Haha! I think I saw you there. My friend was a Haku, but she'd never jump on anyone. I'm planning on making my first attempt at cosplay at AWA... or maybe Dragon*Con.

I felt bad at katsucon because I wanted to dress up as tohru from fruits basket (which I did) and I begged my b/f to go as kyo (which he did) and He was Glomped all day long... he even tried to run from gurls but they chased him untill I gave them the Hana-chan stare down *lovely electric signals*
Those gurls are brutal! Now I did Softly glomp the cutest Momiji I ever saw ^_^ but I asked first! all in all hugs are Great!!! running for your life SUX!!!
I decided to go as Older Momiji Sohma from fruits basket *sighs* and I know im going to pay for it in the end, but I do love the attention

I Concur, I do love the attention...and I also concur, running for your life SUX...that same Haku ended up chacing me all around the first floor sunday night during Karioke...DON'T YOU KNOW WOLFWOOD IS A SMOKER!? I can't run that long (Unless my life depends on it...then i'll never stop - she gave up first)

It's called Control people... Like how im going to have to "control" myself when my bestfriend wears his Dante costume from Devil may cry 3. thats gonna be control..lol.. and he Looks so much like dante already...lol.. its all in fun until someone gets hurt.

Glomping is good for your health??? o__o scary thought....it usually hurts, a lot.

I haven't glomped anyone...except my fellow cosplaying friends. But I do give out hugs! ^__^ I hugged some random people at MegaCon..but they probably didn't mind since I was Bridget from Guilty Gear and DOA Kasumi.

I haven't got glomped yet...thank goodness..

Yea, the biggest thing to know about glomping - you may like it rough...but not as rough as I'll make it if you break my costume...
