Woah, I give up on finding UK cosplayers, and behold - we get given our own forum! I used to look in the Seeking Cosplayers thread, and was shocked when I couldnt find any of the old posts

Anyway, yo! My names Kat, I'm 22, from Sheffield and have been lurking here for a while now. I unfortunately cant make the May expo, but I'm hoping to go to the next one (JapEx?) and I'll see anyone who's going to Amecon.

Now I just have to try and remember that this forum is here...

And Mage.Lulu, it'll be awesome if you can wear it, but if you dont please *do* make sure you say hi! I'm annoyed that I cant go, but my friend is getting married that weekend, I have to get my priorities right

I'll try and post what I'll be wearing closer to the event (I cant plan that far in advance

) so I'm easier to spot!

Hello! I'm glad there's now a UK forum. I'm moving over there in a month or two from Canada, which means I'll be losing all my lovely cosplay buddies and photographers! So hopefully you guys can fill me in on the UK cosplay scene ^_^ I'm registered for Amecon and Alcon so far, and am considering Fuyucon and Midlands Expo (it seems like I'll be plonking myself down somewhere in the midlands). I'm totally not sure what I'll be wearing at said cons yet, but I'll definitely post pics nearer the dates so hopefully you'll spot me and come and say hello.

lol! Yeah, in the middle would be the obvious guess. Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire/etc area as I understand it.

howdy, thought i'd pop in and introduce myself to the other english folk.

i'm from round derbyshire area, and i'm new to cosplay but currently working on two hellsing related costumes.

and is anybody going to the naruto dvd launch at virgin megastores in the arndale on the 21st? apparently there's a cosplay event for it

Yay! Someone else going to Alcon! I'll be appearing as Android 18 and Princess Garnet, as well as possibly a third undecided character too.

Anyone wanna do a skit with me?
