Hillarious, you guys are truely hillarious. By technicality, I'm not a Minnesota cosplayer, but I might as well be. I spend every other weekend in Minneapolis, but I'm from Wisconsin. I'll be going to Detour as well (if I don't shoot myself first. Why did I decide to do Temari using a wig?) Either way, my boyfriend is a college grad student cosplayer in Minnesota. So they do exist, just try to find them at the college.

Sadly, I've spoken to several different people in several different states, they didn't know where Minnesota was on the map. Two people thought we were part of Canada. Either we're sadly unrecognized, or people are just lacking bits of their brain. XD

My cosplays for detour are gonna be:
Rei Ayanami(Plugsuit)- Neon Genesis Evangelion
Sora(Valor)- KH2
Godot- Phoenix Wright

I'm doing a final project at my school to teach people the meaning of cosplay though. (Seriously, you know you're school is anime deprived when your Axel cosplay is called Goku by everybody. -_-")
So...I'll probably be walking around Anime Detour with a bulky camcorder. XD
I'm excited though since it will be my second con and I'm dragging a bunch of my friends with me on Saturday to be Organization XIII. XD

Bought it off eBay. The only part of my costume I'm making is the chakrams from foam. I lack many skills. @_@ Oh well.....I love my wig anyway! XD

hmmm...i was gonna spend like 60$ on a punky wig and then style it....i think i might have to look around ebay...

Yeah. I only bought the wig because I knew I couldn't style anything similar to Axel's hairstyle on my first time trying to style a wig. @_@

yea...i have never even worn a wig before so this will be interesting, sadly enough i am having a harder time figuring out my sailor moon wig...i just want to buy a good one! ...without emptying my bank account

I hear ya. The first time I put on my wig it took me like half an hour to pin my hair right so that it would STAY on top of my head. -_-" I'm cutting it soon though, so that will help a little. XD

lol, i have almost 2 ft of dreadlocks on my head....pinning them and controlling them will be easy but i am worried about how bulky they will be.....who knows, maybe i will have to cut them all off for detour.....
