Ugh, I really wish there was some way to change your screen name! I don't want to start another account because then I would loose all my views and comments! Hopefully this is something that will be changed. It would even be great if there was a resrtiction like each account could only change their screen name once so you guys don't get all those problems you had in the past.
*Sigh* I am really sick of my screen name here and want it changed.

Eventually, perhaps, as Admin has not completely finished the upgrades to the galleries which began a couple of years ago. It's been requested a lot, and I'm sure its on the list of things to do, but I doubt there's anyone who could give you a time table on that. . .

um what is .jpg and what if you don't have it?

.jpg is a file extension designating JPEG which is a certain image compression. If you have any image editing software, you can save it as .jpg. Just go to Save As and somewhere there will be an option for .jpg, .tif, ect. Most digital cameras will automatically take pictures with the JPEG compression, you would have to alter your settings in order to take TIFF or RAW.

I hope that helps a little for your question, Annik. If I were you, I would just check around to see if you have a way to open images on your computer and save them, if you can, then you ought to be able to save that image as a .jpg file.

I cannot upload a user icon and it's driving me nuts. I'll take a picture, put it in my computer, then it is too big. I don't know how to size it down to exactly 200X200, I tried on Paint and it sized it down, but for some reason just made it a little icon on a still big picture and I'm really confused. If I don't have this then I can't post pictures at all! How do I do this?

**Edit** I got this part, but that and the profile picture are different and I didn't know that. I can't upload a profile picture and I've got the sizes and the jpeg form right but it tells me it can't be saved!
How do you do this?

I clicked on your profile and there was an image there. Are you talking about the image that shows below your name when you post in the forums?

"Profile Picture" is no longer used. The only profile images you can use are the Avatar, and the "Member Profile Icon" in your UserCP.

I used the report function, but, is that the only thing I can do about a spammer? Was that what I should have done (pressing the report button)? I can't seem to find any info.

I'm posting comments and the midna picture comes up just fine, just there is something else missing, and it's the "user profile picture" that for some reason is making it complicated for me. :-/ I don't see that one when I go to my profile and it doesn't show up on my costume listing.

Everyone, the FAQ thread is probably not the best place to be asking new questions. The staff and other users won't see your question as easily.

As the site is currently under renovations, it'd be good to start with the Bugs Thread to see if your issue is a known problem. If it's something else not answered in this forum already, feel free to make a new thread in Site Headquarters!

Using the report function is just fine. Reports of posts get sent straight to our e-mails, so we'll see them as soon as we're online and checking!

I recently uploaded my juugo cosplay. when my cotsume showed up in the listing for the cosplay section there was a tiny medal with a red ribbon and a star on my juugo cosplay link........

what is that?

umm I cant seem to get a avatar pic uploaded I try keeping it to 150 150 like it wants but its still to big in file size so yea I even made the look of the pic so bad it still did not work lol
