Timeline (how long your order took to process) A little over a month (although there were issues with international postage with the USPS)

Describe your Experience. I honestly can’t think of a single bad thing to say about velvet_eden. She is an absolutely fantastic commissioner and I would recommend her to anyone. I asked her to make two mini lolita top hats – one in black and white and one in red and black, and left the details up to her. I am so pleased with the final result. She is very skilled and the hats are fantastic. She was friendly and polite, gave us frequent progress updates and photos and was overall a lovely person. The hats arrived well packed and look so professional (the photos doesn’t do it justice!). They are worth every penny. Thank you so much!

Final Grade: A+

Timeline: Paid the first payment on November 23rd, 2007, received February 6th,, 2008.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments:After hearing the great reviews on Dream Angels, I decided to go with them for my Adiane costume. Communication was great! Up until I paid, of course. After not receiving the invoice for my second payment on the date she said she'd send it, I sent an email. Then another one the next week. Then another one the next week.

At this point, I was getting a bit worried, since the deadline for me paying the second half had way passed, and I didn't want her to say to say that she couldn't get me my costume on time since I had paid later than I was supposed to or something. After a friend got back from a con after having some work done by them again, and telling me what an awful, rushed job they did on it & almost missing their deadlines, I grew worried. I emailed them again.

Finally, she responded and sent me the invoice. I paid, and waited for some kind of update. Didn't really hear much, I emailed her again to remind her of my due date at the urging of my friend, she assured me it'd make it on time.

It did (in face, a few days early), however, I was a bit disappointed in it. The construction of the kimono was gorgeous, but the corset part was very flimsy and constantly folded over when wearing it. The 'straps' for the tattoo, as well, were made out of strips of red fabric connected with gold rings...an odd approach for a tattoo that is a red color the whole way through. The rings make it obvious that it isn't a tattoo, if she'd just done the whole thing out of the fabric, it would have looked fine. The corset was what bothered me the most...in the breakdown of what cost what, the corset was $90, and for $90, I was expecting at least a little bit of boning, lol.

I received a partial $100 refund (out of $500), so I'm at least somewhat satisfied. I don't think (especially after hearing the review above mine) I'd commission them again or recommend them, though.

Timeline: Paid in Janurary, was shipped about a week or so later. What took the most time is the post office...don't know what held them up.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments:

Pros: The shaping of the ears were terrific, the durability feels really well, and the adjustability to the ears make it easier to fit on the head.

Cons: Well, besides the fact the painting on the ears on the inner rim of the ears was not terrific (But still okay because that part isn't visible when being worn anyways), I have nothing bad about it to say.

Final Grade: A

Pros: Its a good quality wig- but of course since I used it for a TRC sakura wig instead of a ccs sakura wig I had to style it a bit (no fault of the seller of course~) :3 It was a very good price hence why I chose it over the other wigs of Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles selling on ebay, which cost at least double without EMS shipping.

Cons: None of which I can remember, as it was a while ago. ^^

Comments: Fast for cummunication as I asked for EMS shipping as I had a little convention just over a week from when I bought it (obviously paying more but) - it arrived on time for it. Although it doesn't so much apply to me- the wig needed quite a bit of styling of that sort to make it look like what it was supposed to look like anyway. ^^

Final Grade: A+

Timeline: I first emailed her on 11/12/07 and recieved the final product on 2/7/08.
Describe your Experience: I didn't have any problems until it came really close to when I needed the costume. Before then, she kept in touch whenever she could about the progress and she did send me some pictures when she was done.
However, I paid her the final payment to ship it about two weeks before I had to leave for a convention in another state and still had no word about the cosplay until the day before I left. She told me what went wrong and why I hadn't recieved it. She apologized and offered a discount if I commissioned her again. I promptly gave her the new address I'd be staying at and told her to express mail it to me (I paid the difference in shipping costs). It arrived JUST in time, I was so happy!

Despite everything; both the jacket and the skirt turned out very well and I can't wait to wear it more in the future~. I wouldn't mind buying from her again. ;3
Final Grade: A

Describe your Experience.

At first she seemed really nice. And answered me back promptly. But after December It seemed to get more and more difficult to keep in contact with her. She stated that she was having a hard time receiving messages on cosplay.com. ( i emailed her)

ON 1-24-08 i received a message from her on cosplay.com saying that she was mailing it out that day and i should receive it in 7-10 days. ( i never received a picture of the finished product/ those pics are from her site from her "works In progress" section. )

So i waited beyond 10 days (feb 7th-8th ish) / I sent her a few messages during the time i had been waiting stating "i still havent received the cosplay."
She replied saying that the label got damaged and they had shipped it back to her. She then offered me a discount on my next cosplay outfit for all the trouble. ( I wanted to wait until i received my mars cosplay first before sending anymore money.) During this time she was nice again and replied to me very quickly about a "New outfit."

I sent her a message thru email and cosplay.com on feb 13th if she had shipped the mars cosplay, at this time i asked for a tracking #. I waited 2 days and sent her a message on the 15th stating that i understand things happen but it seems that i have been the one struggling to remain in contact with her. And i asked again if she had shipped the cosplay and asked for a tracking #. I also stated that if i didnt receive a reply i would be trying to get a refund from paypal.com. She hasn't replied to either message. And i know that she has been online cause on her profile it state's her last log time was today at 1pm. >.> ... I can't help but feel that i am either getting scammed or she is just flat out ignoring me.

Pros: Nice at first...

Cons: Lack of Communication. Hasn't answered several messages.
No pictures of Final product. No tracking number. Haven't received cosplay.
Out of $110...

I'm sorry but at this time ... I am leaving this final Grade.

Grade: D-/F

Ah Dammnit.. I commissioned her for a Mello costume. I really hope she can get it done, since I have faith in her.
