I've been considering buying a pair of Venus lenses as well, and I found a few sites to purchase them from. Nighteyes sells them, as does cosplaylab.com, but the cheapest that I've found them at is at Color-My-Eyes. I haven't bought from any of them, though, so I can't be certain of how good service is. I've seen several reviews of Venus lenses on Lensaholics, though, and I must say that they look perfect for cosplaying; while the limbal ring may be a bit dramatic for day-wear, it really gives off the "anime eye" feel.

i got these contacts a while ago from my eye doctor, ut i threw away the boxes so i don't remember the company...i got purple and green,
i personally liked my purple ones alot, even though they made my eyes a tad grey.
in the first picture you can see my eyes, one with the contact and the other my natural color, dark brown (asian eyes)
and the second, you can see the contact against the white.
maybe they were freshlook? i don't remember.>___>;

They are very vibrant, but I am curious if they would work on dark eyes. I'm going to buy a pair of the green ones hopefully within two months *fingers crossed* I'll let yall know.

So far I've only used the Gothica and ColorMax contacts and I've been really happy with them. They can also last a really long time as long as you take care of them.

First I have my Color Max Blue that I've had for over a year and they are still just as comfortable as ever:

The blue shows up incredibly well in any light. The left eye is my normal color.

Creepers by Gothica:

These show up really well but I found that they are semi uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time as they are a thicker lens. They will also rotate a bit but not to horribly and mostly stay in place.

I don't have pictures of them but I have also used the colormax violet, green, and aqua and they have all shown up just as well as the blue does.

I've also used Gothica White and Red and they cover well and are comfortable to wear. I'll try to get some pics soon and post them.

oh-kay I found the site already, www.007s-contact.com but since it was in Japanese, and I'm not that good at Japanese, I'd like to find another site that sold lenses in that color... can someone please help me find the other site that sold them or even translate the 007s for me?? please??

Oh, and, I had a very deep black eyes. Okay, it's actually brown but you won't be able to see it unless you're me, looking in front of the mirror very close...

I have three pairs of contacts, but only have pictures of one pair as of right now. I hope to take pictures of the other two pairs and write reviews on them, as well.

Rating: A-

My eyes are naturally hazel/green/blue/gray (depending on what day it is ^^;; ). Most often, they are green with a gold rim on the inside, surrounding the pupil. These lenses are the second pair I bought, and they were purchased from Fashion Contact Lenses--I love that site.

Pros:
~ Very vivid and noticeable, even from a bit of a distance.
~ Didn't move around in the eye.
~ Very affordable where I bought them; about $32.00 including S/H, I think.

Cons:
~ Somewhat uncomfortable, but not unbearably so. I usually cry healing tears for about the first 30 minutes after inserting them. I think they might be a little thick. However, after some Visine for Contacts is put in my eyes and I have the lenses in for half an hour, the burning goes away.
