How far would people be willing to travel for an SC Cosplay gathering? I think we've discussed it before in this thread...but i'm seriously SERIOUSLY considering organizing one.

For me, Columbia is as far as I'll go, so about 100-something miles from Charleston.

I can't wait to move to columbia...hosting a cosplay gathering where I am now in MB would probably not get many since it is so out the way

I live in Sumter so MB is only about a 2 hour drive for me.

Awesome. I'm going to see if i can't drum up some interest for the gathering and try to have it mid to late April.

I'm sorry, the only AX I'm familiar with is in California. Is there a different one? And a meetup outside of a con would be so much cheaper, which is why I'm all for the idea.

@Jessi-chan: Myrtle Beach is a possibility for me as well, but I'm not that familiar with the roads going that way, so MapQuest, don't fail me now!

Meeting up at cons is great

I think we are planning one for Katsucon in Feb (i think...)

I'll post my idea about a gathering other places and see if i cant get more interest. This might actually happen! *excited*

I'd love a gathering in Columbia seeing as I live in Lexington which is realllly close. But really a gathering anywhere is SC would be fantastic. :] I'd try really hard to make it. I have another cosplay friend here with me that would love to come too. ^^

I'm hoping to make it to Katsucon in Feb if I can find a group to go with. : /

I agree, any meet up in SC at all I would go to - simply because it was an in STATE gathering.
