is there a place to let other sellers know of buyers who are bad?
I got an email from someone who had seen my ad here, and it went as far as the person actually buying my costume set, sent me money through paypal, and i mailed out the package and sent emails to this person giving the tracking number. and then today get an email from paypal stating the person did not recieve anything!!!
even though the trackign number showed it was recieved on the 7th of july. and was mailed out on the 3rd. I feel really cheated actually, the buyer got a really good deal on my costume set. And to top it off i even gave him free shipping too!!!

I have a question: if a seller/buyer has a certain amount of negative feedback left on their profile will there be any action taken? Thanks.

Everytime I upload an ad or edit it, I get sent about 20 confirmation emails (for each ad). Please look into this.

Question on "resellers".
I use to be into costume making so I've bought patterns over the years along with one giant bolt of pink faux leather/vinyl. I've created an ad for the faux vinyl right now but am wary to post any ads for the patterns I've bought and never used. I literally have a large plastic Rubbermaid tote filled with patterns I've bought and never used. Can I post ads individually for the patterns or do I have to make one ad and list all the relevant information in that one ad? Would it be considered as reselling or is it fine? I'm no longer into making costumes as I simply don't have the time or money to do so.

I am curious: does anyone else feel there should be a few more restrictions put on the posting ads in the Marketplace?
Hear me out. In the past year, I've seen quite a few mass-sellers from ebay come over just to post in the Marketplace. I have bought from many sellers on ebay and the majority of the ones accessing the Marketplace are the untrustworthy ones with low-quality products. They are only using their accounts to sell on the Marketplace, not enjoy the community. Maybe Cosplay.com could adopt something similar to what Den of Angels (an Asian Ball-Jointed Doll site) did: they require all members to be active for 30-days and have over 50 posts to even access the Marketplace. It's extreme, as BJDs are very expensive and sometimes easy to create scams for, but it has been very effective in deterring mass sellers and scammers. The Marketplace could easily impose a small post count, possibly 25 or above, and a similar “activity count” before the privilege of posting an ad. Buying, on the other hand, needn't be restricted, as buying scams seem few and far between. There also seems to be an increase in people selling cell phones and electronics completely unrelated to anime or cosplay. I can understand everything I have seen posted, like games and game systems, but cell phones? Sure, it’s a common staple in today’s society, but honestly, who enters the Cosplay.com Marketplace looking for a new Blackberry? These items aren't even priced competitively enough to rival those of the store. Administrators may want to consider putting a ban on posting ads for cell phones and PDAs in the Marketplace, simply for the sheer irrelevance to cosplay. I would like to hear opinions. Both of these issues have been bothering me for quite some time and I want to know if I am the only one. Please be kind. I would also like to know where I could go or someone I could contact to have my concerns heard.

There actually ARE rules designed to prevent resellers and the like from posting, but they aren't enforced/reported frequently. I'd suggest sending any ideas for improvements straight to Admin.
