Also, I went out after school and bought some 12 gauge wire to make Kuronue's wings. Just need to go buy fabric

Luckily for me the collar is all I need to actually do for Kurama.
NYCC is next week and if I had anymore to do I would be so screwed. @___@

I seriously found the most epic fabric store by my school... that's in Jersey.
I was tempted to buy fabric for Kurama cosplay that I don't even plan to do next year. But the lack of enough money and some logical thinking told me not to. XD

Use that money towards a new Kurama wig. And I've already said I might get both the henna red and regular red wigs, so I better save that money for wigs instead XD

I hope to get at least a couple good Kurama pics at NYCC.
Or do a quick photoshoot with my friends. I want something up for this Kurama cosplay that isn't a craptastic.

I have found a solution to my wig problem.
If I find a nice in between color between red and henna red then I will go with that wig. XD

I know Candid-Ishida styled her Hiei's wig, and it's pure awesomesauce! Maybe you could PM her and ask?

Let gravity be your friend! Aaand have lots of got2bglued freeze spray, hair glue (and water to thin it some), a blowdryer to set it with if you're impatient like myself, and a razor.

You'll probably need some extra wefts to sew in due to all of the fiber that will be pulled upward, unless you start with a punky style.

I remember hating my wig with a passion for Hiei.
So I scrapped it and made my Hiei hair out of cardboard.
haha the early days of cosplay XD

I suggest the punky wig.
It's already got gravity defying spikes, so all you'll have to do is fine tune it.

I've heard people used glue for their Hiei wig, but I wouldn't do it since there are better solutions than using glue. Got2B and Aquanet are your best friends. I use them both. And if you want putty adds volume to your wig as well.
