I'm cosplaying as Misty soon. All I need is the red suspenders. I'm going with a group who should be cosplaying as Ash, Brock, Dawn, May, Tracey and Max. We may have a Richie coming but I'm not sure.

I'm not the Pokemon fan, my friends are and it pretty much sparked when they said, "You'd look great as Misty!"

there are so many pokemon characters i want to cosplay as ^^' as for my first one im deciding between misty, may and dawn. im planning on doing all three eventually ^^
and volkner b/c he's awesome. and has a leather.. pleather... jacket and Ash ^^

I think I'm going to premier my Candice for Fanime this year since I only need to make the socks. I don't have any ice Pokemon on hand so I'll be making a Pokeball instead.

With the recent announcement of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, I think my boyfriend and I are going to do the male and female trainers from those games (once artwork is released).

I'll need to start working on plushies of the starters now... I haven't had much luck looking online, and I want them to be the right size, too. =D

My boyfriend and I are doing Volkner and Gardenia for Otakon this year :3 A couple of our other cosplay buddies might be joining us as other trainers, too (we might have a Maylene if I can convince her xD).

I'm going as him for Anime North. I'm also going to be a Pokemon Ranger. I find the trainers a lot easier to do than the actual Pokemon themselves. Not sure why...

Yeah, I've realized that cosplaying as the trainer characters is somewhat easier. Riley is deceptively easy.

Actually, Serebii.net just posted some so-so scans of the trainers this morning here. Of course, after seeing this, I think we're leaning toward my boyfriend doing the new version of Gold and me doing the old version of Kris...because that hat is terrible. =x

It does look like your starter might follow you around in these games, so that makes me even more excited about making plushies to carry! =D

I'm doing Ash's/Satoshi's Sinnoh outfit!!! My boyfriend is triyng to decide between Pual or Gary's Sinnoh outfit/Generation 1's leafgreen and firered outfit.

Regarding future cosplays(I got TONS I wanna do!):

I want to do Riley, Sir Aaron/Ash in Sir Aaron's outfit, Brendan(both Ruby and Emerald outfits), Maid-Ash(yeah, that's unavoidable), Ashley/Satoko, Richie/Hiroshi, Leo/Wes(Colusseum), Ryuuto/Michael(Gale of Darkness), Harley, Drew/Shuu, Wally, and Tory(movie).

I know, I'm a girl and they're all guys! But there's one girl I really want to do:

Ah, I'm trying to get a First Season!Gary cosplay put together by the end of the summer. I have what I need to make the shirt, I just need to alter a pair of boots I have, and a friend of mine said she'd loan me the necklace if we were cosplaying together...I really just need to get an Eevee and style a wig. I made a May costume back for ComicCon '08, and wore it again at AX '09 and am going to wear it again this summer at AX '10. Her Ruby/Sapphire (or anime) outfit. It's been met with a lot of praise so far! You can find some pics on my DA account.
