Seriously, anime in general is not all Japanese.

I remember there was this one convention that played alot of Korean artists like Epik High.

@Forgotten- Well sure I agree with you...but the general public associates anime as a product of Japanese for the most part.

what do you mean they played alot of K-artists? Like people carrying boomboxes that play that or AMVs with Koreans songs... If ever there was a convention that brought over the actual artists to do a concert... I'll be there lol.

You know the Hanbok doesn't seem all that hard to make provided you follow simple pattern instructions but whenever I look at the Hanbok pattern from Butterick or something it looks strange and unflattering. Shouldnt there be a pattern from Korea that tailors go by? You know, the ones you see in sageuk dramas and movies.... Now those are a piece of art!

@Ceres: Basically at the dances and other parties withnin the conventions plus some other special events, they played some Korean songs.

But no the actual artists weren't there, but if they were, that'd be epik =]

Also, yeah!, We need to revolutionize anime for the society to make it worldwide instead of just Japan!

hiii!!~~~ korean here in Chino Hills, California!i'm 100%korean!!...but..i can't speak korean all that well because i used to go to korean school but ever since i went to american school i forgot!!but i do understand korean fairly well!!it's nice to meet other koreans here! i'm not white-washed, well at least i think i'm not?

I'm a high schooler in MA atm, will be going back to Korea after graduation for summer.
