Fabric Advice needed?

Alright, so i am planning this Witch cosplay for a con, but here is my dilemma:
What fabric, what fabric, oh yeah and WHAT FABRIC?!

Here is what i have came down to :

-PVC/vinyl fabric (nice pretty shiny fabric that is a lil stiff but not too stuff)

or

-normal cotton 2-3.99$ fabric

Here are some pics of the girl i want to be

http://tinypic.com/r/288qbyh/4

I am most likely going to go with the PVC fabric but i still would like some advice from fellow cosplayers

~Danke!

From looking at your reference i wouldn't suggest using pvc, mainly because the costume doesn't appear to be shiny. Also that can be hot and uncomfortable to wear. I would go with a nice kona cotton or perhaps a a twill. If you wanted a little shine you could also go with sateen.

I'd go with twill based on that reference pic, since it doesnt look shiny. The cotton you said is probably the thin kind of stuff which isnt really suited to making clothes (not unless you want your underwear to show underneath!)

Twill is the god of costume fabric!

I'd say a nice weight cotton (twill is best). That would give you the right look and twill does come in a variety of colors *depending on where you get it*.

A cotton fabric will breath well and not be so warm you can't wear it all day. And also cottons are easy to wash.
