Hello~
I wrote a few tutorials on how to apply bias tape properly, so I figured I'd post the links to them here. there are a few things I still need to fix/update, but as the bulk of the info is more or less there, I figured that I'd go ahead and post it so that people can benefit from it in the meanwhile (even if it's not perfectly presented yet).
there are a lot of tutorials that address straight application of bias tape, but when I was first starting out and trying to learn how to use it, I wasn't able to find anything that really addressed the issue of what to do when you come to a corner. one of the main reasons I wrote these up was to attempt to help fill that knowledge gap. I also really really love bias tape to death and hope that other people will come to love it once they learn how fun sewing with it is...XD
I'll try to get around to addressing curves and corners at a less than or greater than 90 degree angle one of these days, but hopefully what's here is still of some use for now~
if you require clarification on any step, or would like to request additional tutorial segments/topics/advice, I'll check back on this thread from time to time to try to help answer any questions that may surface or take note of any additions that might be necessary.
