The Closer is constantly tiptoeing like a Ballet Dancer though, tiptoeing in photos will make you look several inches taller

Ok, for all those Pyramid heads who want a good way to make your helmet (or anything else) look rusted (you need to spray paint black as a base). What you need is:
Burnt Sienna or Red oxide universal pigment(Available at hardware or paint stores)
Polyacrylic clear top (also available at aforementioned stores)
Spray bottle
Denatured Alcohol (also avaiable at aforementioned stores)
Mix a little pigment and clear top together, then apply with a decent sized brush and spray with denatured alcohol. This will make it run and bubble and make areas dry transparent.

This is a sort of related question on distressing garments, seeing as Silent Hill is the king of grungy/distressed cosplay. What would work best at yellowing/grunge-ing up fabric to make it seem like a worn on forever without cleaning look?

Add in some coffee and soy sauce too.The colour comes out even more nasty looking.

OMG! This thread has gone almost an entire month without a response! For shame! :>

Anyway, I'm just gonna bump. As an Update, I have a thread on the Ohayocon forum for the SH shoot going on there in the coming year. I'm planning on making Claudia for this con (Possible Dahlia, if I have time to finish) and I will be putting together a Skit to honor SH3. There's gonna be a nice full SH3 group at Ohayocon! Come join us if you can!

If anyone can help me, I plan to do a SH 4 dog, the Sniffer. I fell in love with the dog, and I plan to create it.

Just a quick update on my Alex Shepherd...ALMOST COMPLETE! lol The only thing I need is a passable radio. I even whent and bought a galvanized pipe(though its a little longer then the SH one) and an airsoft pistol that should do the trick.

But yeah Halloween costume for sure so Hopefully I'll get some pictures up from the rest of the people I plan on hitting the town with.

It needs some tweaks, like taking the sleeves in since I made the pattern far too large, and tightening up the belt so I have some semblance of a body shape. And there could always be more filth, I was just having a hell of a time getting it to stick.

I seem to always epic fail at picking the wrong days or the wrong con to cosplay my Heather Morris. Just this Yaoi Con I was cosplaying Heather the day after I saw a (sexy version) Pyramaid Head. Is anyone going as any SH related character at Anime Los Angeles this year? Maybe we can coordinate days and take some pics? I recently redid the costume and have had no pics of it yet and would love other people in these photos.

I actually thought of something you guys could maybe help me with. I've noticed from looking at reference pics that the Demon Nurses have an odd grey, dead look to their skin. Would there be a simple way to achieve that effect?
