The worst time someone asks you for a photo!

this wuzn't so bad, but i wuz trying to reach my friends and they wouldn't pick up their phones (probably couldn't hear them) and i wuz getting a little frustrated and about to turn around when a girl stops me (i wuz in Haruhi Fujioka cosplay btw) and she wuz trying to get pics of Host Club cosplayers and she didn't have a Haruhi pic yet, she wuz rly sweet and it wuz almost the end of the day so i didnt wnt to disappoint her, so i calmed down long enough to give her a pic. she wuz so excited and gave me a hug afterwards, so it wuz worth it

Totally had that happen! My cousins and I were all dressed as the goddesses from Oh My Goddess! and was trying to get back with our Subway sammiches and drinks and got swarmed. We had to stand with our sandwich bags and drinks behind our backs. -_- I'm sure it probably looked really ridiculous in the pics too..lol

When you're ALREADY in a photoshoot and your photographer is trying to get his camera exposure and such all set up right for the shot. Though I'm already ready to pose, its not too welcome when people run in on the shoot. Especially if it means the photog has to fix the camera all over again. Though compared to peopel WALKING THROUGH the location of your private shoot without any regards to the fact that there's a very noticeable camera in it, that's not so bad.

That's happened to Sioteru, her friend & I when we were on our way to a panel... A few people wanted our pictures but we had to tell them we were in a hurry and that we didn't want to be late. I felt bad for doing that, but we had to get to the panel! xD

lets see my worst time when someone asked me for a photo was the time i was still getting used to my Tayuya cosplay. I decided to do a friend a favor and go across a foriegn town to get her something from burger king. Long story short due to my rope becoming untied i almost get run over while trying to catch my breathe and fixing my costume and someone asked for a picture

Oh man, New York Anime Festival had some many bad picture times.

I was in a big Kuroshitsuji group and we couldn't go five steps without being descended upon by photographers. It was around lunch time and I was starving, so I stepped a good distance away from the group to eat my sushi rolls. I take the first roll out and stuff it into my mouth, chipmunk cheeks included, then I hear the click of a camera. I turn around and see two people snapping a photo of me stuffing my mouth with food. One of the Sebastian cosplayers was watching this unfold and laughed.

This happened about two more times afterwards, the same Sebastian cosplayer saw it happen each time and laughed.

O wow I would have to say at the Sakura-con -giggle- me and my friend had been walking all day and we went up to the second floor by the window where NOONE was in sight and layed down next thing I know we passed out -laugh-
A couple minutes I hear giggles squeals and snaps
The thing was I was in my Kaiya outfit which has white ears and tail and I was curled up in a ball with my head on my friends stomach sleeping (so to be nice I closed my eyes again,it went on forever >_<) I wish I could find one of them though I would love a pic like tht

But another would have to be still at the sakura-con we were watching a movie but I realli realli had to go so I started running to the bathroom come to find out 3people are running behind me finalli catching up to me they ask for pics (I was in a realli good mood but had to go) So I crossed my legs leaned my butt on the wall and bent forward and blew them a kiss (I realli want this pic!) and then ran into the bathroom -laughing-
What was worse was as soon as I got to the sink 1more was asking
But I wouldnt say there realli realli bad but Ill be going to two more conventions soon so Ill probabli have more -giggle-

I actually had someone see my tell-tale Naruto-style shoes for my Kabuto costume.....under the stall door... they waited for me to come out (Halloween in Wal-mart, hicktown, USA)

I have decided to contribute to this thread because it amuses me.


Worst times people have asked me for a photo:

1) People walking up while I'm eating lunch with my digi-crew, our faces half stuffed. Because they were relatively nice about it, I still put my food down, slipped on my gloves, not-so-subtly tried to make sure my braces were clean, and checked to make sure all pieces were together before finding an area of the food court that wouldn't be too inconvenient. But still...is it really THAT important to interrupt us while we're EATING?

2) Okay, I understand that being in costume = going to get asked for pictures...but cosplayers like to walk around leisurely too once in a while. Don't get me wrong; I love the attention for my outfit, but it really says something that "Takeru" and I could not go five steps around ANext's dealer's room without seven and a half people stopping us. Especially when we then start talking to one of the picture-takers, then get interrupted by two more. Gahh!

3) Medical emergencies. This is one of the few times when I will NOT stop for pictures. I've had both unexpected injuries happen to friends, as well as personal dietary requirements that need to be met ASAP. Depending upon my mood, I will usually offer to meet up at a later time if they want a photo THAT badly...but I'm sorry--if I'm on the verge of fainting due to low blood sugar, I'm NOT pausing to act all happy and sweet for a photo op. I value my health more than your image collection.

Honestly, all photographers have been nice to me. Once though, I was cosplaying across from Disneyland at the Hilton when this family was on vacation and took our pictures with their kids. That was cool!
