All right, Halloween pictures are up, blood 'n all! There were so many people yesterday at work who thought my bruises were real, even a nurse, haha. She thought my boyfriend beat me up.

Halloween pics up! The lighting at 9pm in a small portion of heavily wooded Portland, Oregon wasn't the greatest for capturing all the detail for bruises and weathering, but it was good for getting me into character. We went into the city and, somehow, some guy recognized my friend as a spy Bill and my boyfriend as a hunter but not me as Zoey :/ .

Google found this topic purely by accident when searching for information on Left4Dead cross-play (as in the L4D2-1 thing), but I dressed as Bill for Halloween and a con event beforehand so I have some photos for ya.

I also did a short photoset for halloween which was supposed to be me playing the new Dead Before Dawn mod, but it ended up releasing incredibly late so it was actually me playing infront of a white screen though it kinda adds to the atmosphere

Hi everyone! I've been following this thread for awhile and wanted to share my hunter outfit now that Halloween's over. I've only got one photo right now but my friends that took pictures will be getting more to me. Tell me what you think! (The flash from the camera made the makeup look really bright though =/)

That is an awesome Bill!. My Bill beard was glued onto my face and it fell out throughout the night. By 12:30 I had to rip it off and then I was just a generic Bill-wannabee.

Lost a Moltov and a bottle of Pills throughout the Halloween night, but the night was Fantastic!!! Photos are coming forth hence.

Mine didn't fall off on account of it being rooted to my face. Two months of hard work that took to grow, well okay two months of fairly easy work but still.

The little clips I had which hooked the pills and molotovs over my trousers broke several times. The button also broke on my trousers at one point and I had to tape them together!

I was on the xBox but moved over to PC yesterday....

I haven't gotten the game yet

half because I don't have an xbox [[trying to convince my sister to help me buy one for christmas]] and because my computer kinda sucks and wouldn't work. [[tried my friends copy and it froze every couple of minutes lol]] and the other half is me building my courage to place it lol

So my friends and I have decided to try to cosplay as the survivors from Left 4 Dead. A friend is going as Bill and another as Coach.
I have decided to go with Nick. My hair won't be the right color when I first cosplay him at AX next year, but I don't have a problem with that.
I decided I would probably make an adrenaline shot, an axe (I'll have one for my Pyro cosplay anyways), a Deagle, and maybe a defibrillator if I can figure out how to make a cheap one.
The good thing is that I have quite awhile to work on it. The bad news is that I have a ton of other crap to do also. Yay~!

So randomly, this is only half cosplay related, but I figured my fellow l4d'ers would be amused by this.

I dreamed this morning that I was *IN* the game. Not playing it, but actually in the game. I'm not sure who I was but I think I was Francis as I saw the other characters. Kind of. Our Louis was Rick Moranis, reprising his Louis role from Ghostbusters and he kept dying. At one point, I had to fight with a pistol and a spray bottle. I'm not sure what was in the bottle but it worked. We were in a school, with elevators. I finally got two machine guns and stayed in a corner the entire rest of the dream. Until Achmed the dead Terrorist [[from Jeff Dunham lol]] came up and ate the Witch. *blinks* Bill laughed though, it was amusing.

Yea. So any of you end up with a dream about it? I figured it was half cosplay related because I was dressed up as Francis in the dream?

Ah cool, well by christmas you'll be able to play both L4D and L4D2 all fresh! lots of gaming ^^. I only got my own copy this week....been stealing my mates brothers xbox account for awhile now XD. but he was mean and abused all our friends >.<
And, I've had a L4D dream too.... but I got Huntered... not as cool in real life =(.

Ah thank you very much! I only have 1 other friend on steam, plus the switch over from xBox to PC makes me feel like a noob =(
