Yo. Guess I forgot to introduce myself before going and posting in another thread. Its a pleasure to meet you guys and I hope I enjoy my sporatic and probably random stay here.
Welcome, Enkidu! I know what you mean about "sporadic and probably random" forum posting... I'm more of a lurker, myself, but I'm trying to get better at actually putting myself out there and posting on a somewhat-regular basis. We'll see how well that actually works out for me, since I tend to be shy.
Thanks, may I also ask how is it that I cannot post in a topic without getting the message " A moderator must approve your message before it will be visible" ? I've tried posting a new topic outside of this forum and post in a couple of different threads, but I keep getting those messages and even after a few days NOTHING SHOWS UP. I'm confused and frustrated.
From what I've gathered, you'll get those messages until you've made around ten posts. It was confusing and frustrating to me, too -- I understand the need to cut down on spam, but my introductory post took a good couple of days to be approved (I'm guessing because it contained a link...?), so I wish there was a better way to moderate new users. Makes it a little hard to jump right in and start contributing, you know?
