Oh, man, this October was wretched, heat-wise! We had that one cold snap in the middle of the month, but the rest of it was record-breakingly hot. I work a local Halloween event that requires being in costume/make-up outside during the month of October, and, if I hadn't been airbrushed, I would've been sweating off my make-up during my first set! Airbrush make-up is a life-saver, even if it's a pain to remove by the end of the night. I wish I had the necessary equipment of my own at home, especially now that I'm getting into cosplay...
So, yeah, I love Florida, but it makes for a challenging environment sometimes!
As for Abbey's pants... I just dropped them off to be altered yesterday, and I'm crossing my fingers that they'll turn out all right! I printed off a page of something like ten reference pictures to show the seamstress what I was looking for, and she seemed to understand it... I'm just hoping they look nice when they're done! The next six days are going to be a little nerve-wracking. All the more reason to learn to sew nylon myself.
