And those Abbey Chase leggings look like a project in itself.
Oh, man, this October was wretched, heat-wise! We had that one cold snap in the middle of the month, but the rest of it was record-breakingly hot. I work a local Halloween event that requires being in costume/make-up outside during the month of October, and, if I hadn't been airbrushed, I would've been sweating off my make-up during my first set! Airbrush make-up is a life-saver, even if it's a pain to remove by the end of the night. I wish I had the necessary equipment of my own at home, especially now that I'm getting into cosplay...

So, yeah, I love Florida, but it makes for a challenging environment sometimes!

As for Abbey's pants... I just dropped them off to be altered yesterday, and I'm crossing my fingers that they'll turn out all right! I printed off a page of something like ten reference pictures to show the seamstress what I was looking for, and she seemed to understand it... I'm just hoping they look nice when they're done! The next six days are going to be a little nerve-wracking. All the more reason to learn to sew nylon myself.

Welcome NoctisNox!! To one college student to another, I know the pain of not having enough money to do cosplay, haha. Anyways, good luck on doing Nel and Lightning.

I can imagine..I always felt a little bad for the scareactors with intense heat. Must be an extremely fun job though!

How did the leggings turn out?

Hope they turned out better then my last experience. I've try sewing with nylon...let's just say it wasn't an extremely pretty sight. hah.

@state_alchemist - Thanks for welcome! and yeah the pain of having no money is a major set back (especially with costly cosplays... :/ lol)

edit:
I saw the abbey leggings, lol. they turned out really great!
