I'm thinking I would like it quite a bit brighter and I don't like how my eyes turned out. Regular eyeliner does not stand up to the base colour. I'll have to get some white and black for details. But I definately love the lips. After I added highlights, I when back and put more of the base colour, outlined it with black eyeliner then put a coat of clear gloss on top. The pic does not show how lovely they turned out. And yes, I only did my face and ears. Rest of my body will hopefully be covered by costume when I have to do this for real. Next weekend, pink night elf me thinks. Just have to figure out how to paint the ears, as I don't have the right colours for latex.
I don't mean to be rude in ANY way when I say this.... but I don't really like the color you used. I clicked on the link first, saw the pic and THEN read that it was supposed to be a draenei.... I actually thought you were an undead elf at first. :x I'd definitely say go a lot brighter and more solid of a color. *nod*

Merodi, I agree with you. It's a little too dull to be that vivid night elf color that we all know and love. But this is why we do makeup tests before the cos is ready! Just making the color a little more vivid and saturated would definitely make it look brighter all together.

I thought she was going for Draenei O.o
I think maybe the lighting in the photo didn't help with the dullness of the color either - although, there are some pretty dark colored Draenei out there.

I definitely agree though, waaaay too dark for Night Elf.

I'm back from the dead! (Ok, maybe not...)

In the planning stages for my BlizzCon '10 costume- just waiting on the husband to decide if he's going to do paladin!Arthas or not. If he decides on shiny!Arthas, then I'll be going as apprentice!Jaina. If not... well, lets just say I'm leaving that a surprise. After what happened this past year... yeah, no costume leaks for you.

okay.. so no dress for me for this weekend at DMF /sadpanda.. another girl was going as the same character as I was anyways.. turkey...

but I will have my ears on!! tehehee

I'm just having trouble hiding my own ears (these are the leather ears permafrost makes). I have a head band to hold then up in place with a few bobby pins.. but my hair is short and I just dont have long/tick enough hair to pin it back over my ears and the edges of the belf ears..

any tips? or cute casual hats that would cover it up or at least lay my hair flat over my ears? gah..
