I have made too many FFX costumes. Seymour (regular and wedding), Auron (younger and older) and just recently helped with a Jecht. I plan on making a Lulu in the future.

Hey guys! WOOT FFX!
I absolutely adore FFX....so I plan to cosplay from it multiple times. XD So far I've made Yuna's wedding dress and it was a ton of fun.
I'm currently working on Rikku in her wetsuit (from the beginning of the game). It's hugely difficult! I've already managed to scar myself with an exacto-knife. >>; I'm making it for Otakon 2010, so see you there! I also hope to learn some Al Bhed by then. Hopefully people don't think I'm yelling at them in some weird language when I'm really saying thanks or something. XD
I'd love one day to form a Magus Sisters group.
I also convinced my dad to make Cid! And TerraFire is going to be Elma, the Chocobo Knight.
All are welcome to join the Otakon 2010 FFX group. Our focus is definitely minor characters. Let me know if you want to join!

I've done the wig, brought the jewellery and have the boots. Now to sort out the bit in the middle, lol! I have an idea on what to do for the armour but I'm a bit lost on what to use for fabrics, especially for the yellow top. Anyone have any sugguestions? Thanks.

Hmm, I've seen various different fabrics used for Tidus's yellow top. What I really would stay away from is PVC/pleather. It doesn't hang right, really and has the wrong texture. It looks like all the black parts of his outfit are a leather-like material, so I would use a softer fabric on the yellow vest to contrast that. I almost want to say a knit-like material? Maybe a heavy cotton blend of some sort.

Grar..I can't decide whether to make the center of the pink flowers on Yuna's skirt white, green (same as vines) or a pinkish-purple. Dammit.

Alliebeth, I've seen them all different ways, and I think the prettiest is the pinkish-purple. That's how I'm going to do them when I do Summoner Yuna in a few years.

FINALLY my staff for Yuna is finished XD
http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2362906/
This sucker took me like 3 months, off and on, to complete, and I love it to pieces. It's her Malleable Staff. I did it because nobody really does it, and I love the colors and "wings" at the top. Plus, I think it'll go really well with the Yuna Wedding dress I plan to do in the future. Feathers..wings...yeah.
*squee* It's done XD
Oh, and I'm super super close to finishing the obi belt too!
http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2362907/
Need to add dark purple in the centers of the flowers and of course stitch up the ends and add velcro. Maybe wire too...oh and the pink fleece underlining I have.
Today was a very productive day cosplay wise...wish I got that much done when it came to school work <.<

Your staff is awesome Alliebeth!!! What did you make it out of? I don't think I've ever seen a Yuna cosplayer with that particular staff. Sweet <3

Thanks
It's pretty much made of EVERYTHING. Seriously: foamcore board, duct tape, papier mache, model magic, craft foam, hot glue, wire, acrylic and spray paints, embroidery floss, dowel rod, some gold rope from Joann's....a lot of it was trial and error since it's my first real prop.
Pictures doesn't do the handle justice; it's a gradient from dark purple to red/burgundy that's just so pretty in person XD I still can't believe it's really DONE..o.o
If anybody wants to know about a particular bit of how I made it, just ask. ^_^

I'll look into knits. I did consider a jersey as I do agree pvc/leatherette wouldn't hang right. I'll use letherette for the shorts as I do think they need to be made in that matrieal to really sit right.
Thanks Ryu_Ataku.

You know I don't remember the exact time, but about a month? I know certain things like the design on the sleeves took me roughly 14 hours of work to complete. The tabard with all the symbols took me almost as long.
I didn't notice the weight of anything except the wig and, by the end of the day, the boots. It was VERY warm. Under that coat, I'm wearing pants, a shirt, a vest, and the cravat/necktie thing. And the coat and cape are both fully lined.
I would have to honestly say though that Wedding Seymour is easier than Summoner Seymour. That design on the back of his coat is crazy hard and took me forever.
