The "Who Do I Look Like?" / "Who Should I Cosplay?" Thread

I have been cosplaying for about three years now and I wanted to see what people other than my friends could suggest. > w>

Cosplaying for me over the years have been up and down - and I just really want to get an honest opinion about would look best on me and not just the same cracked up fangirl stuff I have been doing.I consider myself very well versed in anime and am looking for something I may be familiar with - or even something brand new.

I just kind of want to avoid over used cosplaying subjects such as Naruto and Kingdom Hearts ~ (Though I would not mind Bleach).

I crossplay by the way ;D

Height - Five foot four , though I often wear heels so it makes me about five five flat ~.
Body Type - I have a bit more bounce to the ounce, but have a more athletic body. Maybe one hundred and forty pounds? I have broader shoulders, a small bust, and large hips / waist so generally speak a pear body type.
Hair - Blonde , though I do not mind wigs.
Eyes - Green and blue - and I do not mind contacts.

Uhm, I totally fail at these sorts of things (my facial recognition isn't too grand for whatever reason o_O) but at least I tried? 8D;

Iluvhorsez - I thought of Eileen Galvin from Silent Hill 4.

I'm willing to crossplay, wear wigs, and (obviously) wear contacts~ Just keep them simple/cheap-ish? xD Don't have my own money, and my parents are stingy when it comes to things such as this. And yet they got me an expensive camera for getting into honor choir. I don't see the logic either. o-O
I'd really like to cosplay from Silent Hill (Heather Mason, anyone? 8D) so brownie points for any such matches~ But really, anything's better than nothing, even obscenely obscure characters. <3

Glasses: The cosplay doesn't have to have one but I do wear them

Etc.: I don't like Sailor Moon or little short girly characters... I honestly cannot for the life of me pull them off and not built small. I don't mind stuff that shows skin, just nothing like Yoko.. lol

I was thinking Orihime from Bleach... what do you guys think?? Other suggestions are welcome!!

Oh and, if you guys don't mind, any suggestions for my boyfriend? If you can think of pairs that would be great.. We don't watch much anime ><

He's like, 5'7" and has black hair, black eyes, and kinda chubs. He is also pretty dark. He is the guy with me in my pics..

I think you could pull off a great Germany from Axis Powers Hetalia. And you wont have to do anything with your hair IMO.

Hi! I'm a completely newbie at cosplaying x3 I'm going to only my second convention in the spring. Over the summer, I cosplayed as Yuuki Cross from Vampire Knight.

Now I want something new. Still in that general group of anime/video game characters, but one that I can actually pull off...

Jellyfish: For your boyfriend and yourself, how about doing a couples cosplay of Ichigo and Neliel Tu Oderschvank from Bleach? Or he could be Nicholas D. Wolfwood and you could be Milly Thompson? Or he could be Spike Speigel and you could be Julia. Or you could be Kaname Chidori and he could be Sasuke Sagara from Full Metal Panic? Though if you want to know what I really think you could do well if you want to cross play would be Aidou Hanabusa or Ichijo Takuma or Senri Shiki from Vampire Knight. Your boyfriend could be Kain Akatsuki. They're all guys but I think you could pull them off really well if you pad your waist. They're bishounen anyway. They're supposed to be more or less girly pretty.

Pears: You're very pretty! Love the voluminous tresses! Definitely Lydia Carlton from Earl and Fairy or if you straighten your hair, Eclair Tonnere from Ouran Host Club (arch those eyebrows, stick that nose in the air!), Aoriba Dia Vanille from Final Fantasy XIII...I think

But just in case SamuraiSmurfX wants to disappoint all the fangirls (but please cosplay Germany sometime SamuraiSmurfX XD) I'll suggest some more: Knives from Trigun (wears a form fitting plug suit) David from Blood + (kinda boring outfit, he looks totally CIA though), I also think you'd give a great take to Kakashi Hatake from Naruto as well as a really accurate Hidan from Naruto Shippuden (shirtless, hello!)
