guess im late by a month. well i am from hong kong but im currently in sg! dying to go back... anyway i don't think there is really anywhere in hk that sells costumes? i don't know about wigs..

if you can read chinese i suggest you search "HKcosplayers" forum, they are really nice,
but not really sure someone will answer or not.
i just remember it must hv AGS & CW(comics world), may hv RG(rainbow gala: is the newest one)

Anyway, hello fellow Hong Kongers~ I'm from Toronto, Canada as well and I will be going to HK for about 2-3 months this summer. (May-July) I'm missing Anime North, but I'm wondering if there are any other conventions in HK that are around this time?

Also, I remember the last time I visited there was this book convention. Anyone know if they sell mangas there? :O~ I heard that some people cosplayed their fav book character there as well o.O and are the octopus cards still in use? I adored those cards <3 So much easier than carrying change around(aside from the octopus card stealers > _>'')

Lol, im a fellow Hker as well (well kinda), nice to meet u. Anyways, the next ani-con for 2010 will most probably be in the Summer, just like last year. So it should be in around August.

Octopus cards are still in use. Not only that, it has expanded to many shops and chain stores.
Even car parks.

...I missed Anime North...

Ani-com is held annually on the last weekend of July/first weekend of August, whichever the weekend falls on closest to. I believe this year's Ani-com is 30/7 to 3/8~ ( The site for it is here>> http://www.ani-com.hk/ )
