Timeline: I first got a quote for the costume back in July, but I never officially put in an order until September 20th. I wanted the costume by October 28th, and received it October 13th, ahead of expectations! So about 23 days.

Describe your Experience.
Pros: They CONSTANTLY kept in touch. If they needed something more from me to make the costume right, they asked for it. If I had questions or concerns, the were extremely polite and quick to respond back. The material used is VERY good quality and very sturdy, and I can't see it wearing out after multiple uses at all. It feels and has the quality of something you'd by in a very expensive department store, and I felt the money I spent on it was completely and totally worth it and MORE. (Which, might I add, was a VERY good price for such a costume.) The whole thing was lined, the hood is furred and perfect, and the white skirt even had elastic in the waistband! I am completely in love with the costume.

Cons: The armpits of the jacket are a bit long, so the armband sat on my elbow instead of my bicep, but that's something that was very easily fixable by moving some Velcro around. The jacket itself is a bit heavy, but it's not something I care about too much, since it means it's going to last longer than other clothing by being made of sturdier, heavy-duty fabrics. The skirt is a bit long, but again, not something I'm terribly cut up over. Otherwise, There is absolutely nothing for me to complain about!

Turaround Time: First payment sent on September 16th, Boots received December 22nd.

Pros: I've worked/commissioned from GSTQ before, and know the *extremely* high quality of her work, so I chose her for this project. All of the craftsmanship on the boots is incredible. The stitching and detail work is perfect, everything is finished and padded where need be, and it all fits perfectly. Honestly, everything is just that good (not to mention I had to send pictures of the existing fabric to match it to and it's amazingly close).

Cons: The only con is I will need to install a garter system or rely on fashion tape to hold the stockings up (the thigh armor is a little heavier than I expected).

Comments: Again, GSTQ's craftsmanship is stunning...worth every penny.

Final Grade: A

Describe your Experience-

Pros: The cosplay is absolutely perfect. The fabric is high quality, everything fits like a glove and it looks just like the character. Also, they have free shipping to North America, Europe, Australia and Japan! 8D

Cons: It's a tad pricey. Overall I think it's worth it though.

Comments: They don't use cheap costume fabric whatsoever. It's very High grade. That's why I think the cosplays are so expensive. Also, if you're tall, you might want to get a bigger size (for the length) and just have it taken it. They use smaller models for their measurements. This is a great site to go to if you need a last minute costume, or you're just lazy. ^^

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: I'm very happy with the prop and I can't wait to wear it! It's sooo lightweight and the black details on the front of the badge look really good.

Timeline (how long your order took to process): We got the ball rolling on Oct. 26th. I told her I was in no hurry, but I would like the mask by the end of December. I had the mask in my hands around Dec. 21st.

Describe your Experience. Pros: The mask looks great! It fits perfectly too

Comments: Nikki is very very patient! Sometimes I forgot to send her certain information, or it would take days for me to reply to her email (I feel terrible about that) but she was always kind and patient. Thank you Nikki!

Timeline (how long your order took to process); Mmm, I asked her to make it in the beginning of December and got it a few days after christmas. I needed it for February so it was a really quick commission in which I did not expect.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments;

Experience;I think she is a very professional commissioner, she asked me questions about how I wanted the sword to be and the details for it. She even made sure everything I wanted for the sword was correct before making it. I was really satisfied with everything especially the communication and how long it took for her to make it. I think the price was decent because I would have expected it to cost me alot more.

Pros; The time it took to make the sword and sheath was really fast, she replies rather quickly and seems to know what shes doing.

Cons; The paint job on the sword itself was good but there were some paint bubbles or small dots/spots on the blade part. A very small part of the sheath got chipped off, I'm not sure if the damage was from it being mailed and handled poorly by the delivery workers or not. But everything isnt visible unless you see it up close.

Final Grade: A

TIMEFRAME: I contacted her November 3, 2009 and I received the wig today, before the deadline that I actually needed it by.
COMMENTS: I absolutely love Chisai! She is VERY VERY fast with email replies and always sends you updates with progress pictures. If there's something you ask for and don't understand, she contacts to clarify instead of just guessing. She even gives her own advice on certain aspects of the wig I was unsure about. The wig was VERY secured when shipped so no damage to the wig whatsoever She even sent me a information sheet on how to take care of the wig or how to restyle if needed. Thank you Chisai!

GRADE: A+

Alright, there's a story behind the two reviews I'm about to do. Okay, so a while back, I purchased a Mileena (Mortal Kombat) costume from a member here on Cosplay.com. I wore the costume to the convention and placed in inside a box for storage till the next convention. One day soon after, my dog managed (and I will never know how) to get inside the costume box. He decided he really liked the mask to the costume and turned it into his own personal chew toy, thus ruining the mask completely. I immediately email the cosplay.com member I bought the costume from to see if she could make me another mask, but unfortunately she had no more fabric of the color she would need (the mask and costume colors match). So, keeping my fingers crossed, I decided to commission two people in hopes one would make a mask close to the color of the costume. Here are my reviews of those commissioners:

NAME: Dokudel

ITEM COMMISSIONED: Mileena's mask (Mortal Kombat)
TIMEFRAME: I think about two weeks
EXPERIENCE: Dokudel is a very sweet person and replies to PMs very quickly. Her price was very reasonable and was surprised when I received the package that she had made two masks, one small and one large so I could use which one fit me better. Unfortunately, the small one wouldn't even fit over my head (its not a tie mask), and the large mask is a little bit big on me (as you can see in the picture) Fortunately, a little double sided tape should fix that. One peeve I did have with the mask though, is she chose to use WHITE thread hem a PURPLE mask, so the thread shows very well against the mask. This probably won't show up very well in pictures though, but in close up pics it does. Despite this, I would definitely commission her again!
GRADE: A- (the minus is only because of the use of white thread)

TIMEFRAME: About two weeks
EXPERIENCE: Catnip is also very sweet to talk to and replies to emails VERY fast. They started on my project right away and sent progress pictures. Between Dokudel and CatNip Cookie, their mask color choice came closest to the costume color. Unfortunately, when I received the mask and tried it on, it was way too long. Luckily my mother knows a little about sewing and we were able to fix the length ourselves. Otherwise very good experience with this commissioner and would definitely go back!
GRADE: A- (the minus only because they should have asked for measurements, but I also should have been smart enough to provide them...)

Very quick!

Pros:
- Communication excellent. They even wished me a happy new year while communicating with them, which I thought was really nice.
- Seller put up with my stupid, noobish sounding questions about how to pay her without getting irritated/ignoring me (was a first time ebay user with this transaction).
- Jacket is fully lined. There were a few stray threads that I cut, but nothing major/to complain about.
- Everything looks spot on from the pictures they showed.

Cons:
- I can't really think of any, except for the fact that the fluff on the hood isn't white, it's more gray. But it's still wicked amazing and that's only a minor thing.

Comments:
Would definitely do business with this person again!

Aw, thanks a ton ^_^ It's really no problem. These hang-ups are a bit of a disappointment, though. The second post is now doing this exciting disappearing act whenever I attempt to edit it.
Posted a concern to the Bug Report thread, so I suppose there will just be an unusually large update after Admit gets things sorted.
