I just finished my SSJ Gohan wig last night, and since its my first ever wig im very proud

I still need to tweak it a little (make the middle bang a little shorter) but otherwise it's done!

Greetings, fellow dragon ballers! I can't believe I just now found this thread! It makes me happy to see that there are more and more DBZ cosplayers. Anyways, my first time cosplaying as a DBZ character was in Otakon 2009 as future Trunks w/ long hair and sword... I wanted to do the short hair version and even had the hair cut for it, but I messed up the dye job and had to resort to a wig 2 days before the convention... I'm going back to Otakon next year in 2010 as SSJ Trunks. Right now, I'm remaking my sword with cardboard... the sword i had before was too long and was recycled from a previous costume.

i might do a goku cosplay for dragon con 2010 but i'll do it a costume style ^^

I do Android 17 but i have 6 cosplays for Katsu, so i dimmed Otakon to be old skool cosplay weekend. I will do Android 17 from DBZ and Jedite from Sailor Moon during Otakon for my birthday

not that theres anything wrong with it...its just Dragon*Con is really even half way big on the anime & I was so sad to see the kids knew more about a cartoon character from I think Nickelodeon cuz another guy did dress up as Goku and I hardly heard any shouts in the parade for him...I had just did the costume of my King Piccolo so I was already expecting very lil ppl to even notice me cuz I didnt have the paint done man no one but James Masters could really tell what I could even be from...

I'm currently busy organizing a big DragonBall cosplay group in the Netherlands.

So far we have 19 cosplayers;
#18 (DBZ: Cell arc), #18 (DBZ: Buu arc) , Brolly (Super Saiyajin), Bulma (DBZ: Trunks arc), Burter, Celipa, ChiChi (DB: Piccolo Jr arc), ChiChi (DBZ: Buu arc), ChiChi (DBZ 2008 special), Captain Ginyu, Gotenks (SSJ3), Lunch (Good form, maid), Son Gohan (DBZ: Cyborg Arc), Son Goku, Trunks (Future), Vegeta (SSJ4), Videl (DBZ: Saiyaman Arc), Videl (DBZ 2008 special), Yamcha (DB: 1st appearance)

^^ I told everyone to do their best on their costumes, because people often seem to neglect DB cosplay here... So I'm very curious. I'm cosplaying as Celipa, by the way. The group will premiere on July 10th, this year. We're still recruiting :3

I have a feeling DBZ cosplay will actually grow in popularity again because of dbz abridged. I look forward to seeing some Nappa!

This is my first year cosplaying as anything specific. I'm going as a short-haired Videl, with the pink-purple shirt and white tank top. Everything is going easy, except for her dumb boots! I've seen a lot of people make good ones with felt, but I've never done anything like that... wish me luck! haha
