I smell crossplay!

I love the Blaziken (most fave), Honchkrow, Milotic, Tauros and Swellow male designs. I wonder if there are any female re-designs out there by the same artist?

I'm finally getting everything together for Mawile! Got my shoes, my wig(to be stubbed and styled this weekend), and I started carving out the horns/jaw. Also this weekend, I'm going fabric shopping and piecing together the pattern, which I have all planned out. I'm excited! x3

Lol I love these scissors(pfff spelled it "scizzors" first). xD And thanks! I honestly have no idea what I'm doing with the foam; I've never worked with it before. haha

I'm finding excuses to do many Yellow pokemon because of this yellow dress I have that is going to waste about now >_< so first up is Chingling and I think I may usse it for pikachu and pichu AND a shiny Drifloon ysing the same hat with diffrent ears will be intresting >_<;; but I hope it won't look but so strange since all the base will be the same

anyway, hey guys ~ !

i've had my eye on the possibility of doing a gijinka pokemon cosplay ever since i kept running into designs on dA, and a few months ago i finally committed to it.
i was INITIALLY going to do Haunter,
because he's been my favorite pokemon ever since i was little,
but the design i spewed out for him just seems difficult to do... for a girl anyway.
walking around with only bandages covering your chest is tricky.

so now i'm settling on absol. here's the rough sketch i have: link
i tried to incorporate as much of the pokemon's original design into it while still making it my own,
and at the moment i'm stumped on whether or not it needs a little something extra,
as well as what to do about his horn and tail.
i don't wanna slap on a tail because it won't look right.
a friend suggested i make it a braided low ponytail thing with the tail attached at the end,
much like Yuna's hair is from FFX-2/, but not that long of course.
once again, not sure if that'll fit nicely, or if it'll just look weird.

as for the horn, i don't even know.
i'm not sure i wanna walk around with a giant thing stickin' outta my head 'cause i'm worried i'll forget it's there and knock somebody out. xD;
this artist did an interesting take on the horn which i like, but the trouble is it might not fit the design i have.
unless i make him like.. french or something. absol... furbeast of love. //shot'd.
anyway, if i can't stick it to my head in some aesthetically pleasing way,
i'm wondering if i can turn it into a hand held scythe sort of thing.
i know some people have used daggers, but if i remember correctly, absol also fights with that horn, so it'd make sense to have a weapon that looks like it ?

either way, criticism and suggestions are MORE than welcome.
i'm at a bit of a road block, and i could use some alternate courses to take.
