@kuroikouma: I couldn't find anything usefull.. But I try as hard as I can to find something, what you could use as a reference. Usefull ofcourse. I've only found 2 cosplaypictures of someone who did that version of Kaito. But since you need to find out how it's all done with Len's dress, this doesn't helps. xD
@Ama Uzume: Which outfit do you want to do? (Does she has more outfits? I didn't focused on anyone else lately because of my own cosplays of Len and Kaito..) Vocaloidfans will probably recognize you anyways. Sorry for my bad english sometimes. x] Last edited by Akiraxshiki : 04-21-2010 at 03:16 PM. |

I already have her 'Alice Human Sacrifice' done. I was thinking a special yukata to make for the summer. Also a Chirstmas one and maybe her 'Magnet' one.

1) Stick to her most common outfit, the default and get cut and coloration as spot-on as you can. 2) Get a good wig in the right color and style it appropriately. 3) Work on appropriate poses in your mirror. 4) Find a partner (Kaito) or a group (Kaito and the Series 2s). Having other characters from the same series around will up your recognizability a lot. 5) Hold off on random props and embellishments ~ stick to established character items.

@Ama: that sounds cool, I dont think people will have a hard time recognizng Meiko =P
she may not be the most popular of the Vocaloids but Vocaloids in general is at an all time high, so chances are you'll get recognized =3 sticking with a group of other characters would help tho =) random// I've seen Luka's kimono pattern from 'The Tailor of Enbizaka', the kimono's from 'Circle you, Circle you' and Miku's project diva Yukata... but are there any offiial designs other than those ones?? (I apolgize for spelling errors, my keyboard is glitchy and the keys are really sticky DX)

Ama: Woots to the dark cosplayers!! 8D
I see where your delema is in this cosplay. The color of your skin can throw off the way your wig blends with your face. And when a wig blends to much it's really easy to be over looked. Simple win Meiko Formula: Make the cosplay as accurate as possible: Because she wears red see pops pretty easily in crowds anyway. (Which ever version you do [Sakine, Default or her default variants.) Lighten your eyes: light colored make up (don't over do it D in the right spots open your eyes and face.Easy props! 8D It helps if you have a drinker in the family. Save a spare beer can or bottle, clean it (cause if you walk around with old beer in a can it reeks and you can get thrown out of cons for smelling like beer D: ) and/ or carry a mic around. it's really hard to find Meikos default signature mic. But do what you can. ^^ Good Luck!

Akiraxshiki- Yeah, I've actually found a Len who cosplayed that version, but you still can't see the outfit all too well :/ I'm thinking, since I already have a kimono pattern, that I'll just make a sleeveless version and then tie or attach the longer, more colorful parts to the bottom, too. Thank you for helping!

@Kiratsukai: thank you so much! I had an old Kimono pattern and wanted to pick a few Vocaloid designs to wear it out, that really helps, thanks! X3

Okay, I've decided that when I do Rin, I want her panel to light up. Now, how do I go about doing that?
Also, what is this outfit from? http://www.milanoo.com/Vocaloid-Rin-...me-p23513.html

Hi!
I have a question regarding my Teto Kasane cosplay. The wig that I have, should I make little stubs and then attach the pigtails to it? There are also strings attached to the pigtails, should I instead latch them onto the wig? Haha, I did my measurements wrong and the skirt I have is HUGE. So I have to get my boss to tailor it for me. x'D But everything else is great, if anyone ever wants to order something from Cosplayhouse.com, I totally recommend it. ((If they send me my headphones on time.)) |

Yuki - this is a better question to ask in the wig forum. Most of us here aren't all that experienced with wigs.
If you want to stub the wig and then attatch the hair you can ~ but you might find you have trouble covering the stubs completely with the corksrew style of the tails. You might want to get a twin-tail style wig, then style the twin tails lower. The second method is a bit easier... the first will get you higher-set tails.

Hello everyone!
I'm doing Kagamine Rin ~Synchronicity~ series I'm having trouble with her bow on her hair. What should I do to make it stand up? Also, about her treble necklace, do you have any suggestion or tips of what should I do with this?
