About International Cosplay Guest Yuki LeFay: participation postponed.

Hi I'm Yuki LeFay, one of the international cosplay guests for Anime Matsuri International Cosplay Meetup this year.

Unfortunately I come here to bring bad news. I did not get the visa to travel to the United States and attend the convention.

Here in Brazil, we have a huge bureaucracy for brazilians to get the visa to travel to the US, and I did not get a visa in time.

The convention organizer was all the time helping me, working in the best way for me to get this visa in time, but unfortunately we couldn't.

So, I would like to say that I am very sorry, and that this unexpected problem made me very sad because I was very excited and waiting for this trip.

But, the organizers have extended the invitation for me to be in next year's edition of Anime Matsuri. And I already started the process again to obtain a visa in order to fulfill all the requirements necessary for obtaining it.

So I think about it as just a delay and hopefully I'll attend the Anime Matsuri next year.

I'd like to thank the event organizers for all the effort in helping me in the process of getting the visa. I also want to thank all the messages that I received from people who were waiting to meet me, and say that next year at Anime Matsuri 2011, I'll be there for sure!

^-^ Here's to next year. The hotel was on the mean side this year so you missed the experience of being tagged with a blue wristband.
