Howdeedo!
I’m Animangafreak! I just moved to Korea from the U.S. And I’ve been here about 2 months? I got my F4 visa, a job, and an apartment with my sister. So I’ve gotten all settled down in Yatap, Bundang … but now I’m settled enough to where I’m starting to look for fun things to do. My mom and my youngest sister came with me and my other sister. They’re going back sometime next month and I’m looking for some fun things to do when the leave. Like cosplaying. I’ve only been cosplaying once or twice and I’ve only been to a con once in 2009, but I miss it all. Even though I am a newb. ![]() I hear there is a con in Comic Con in Seoul every month. Where exactly in Seoul is it? And what time of the month is it held? Also … is there any stores that sell fabric in Korea? I’ve never seen one so far. O.o Any one else live in Yatap or nearby? I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the Last Airbender in theaters 22/06, any one else?

Fabric?!
OOH~ If you're looking for fabric, it's definately Dongdaemoon!!!
You'll probably find eeeeeverthing else there lol. Thing is, you have to look around, and make sure to haggle before you buy anything. (Lots of stores will have the same fabric, so make sure you find a cheap, but reliable store. And make sure the shopkeeper doesn't smoke!!) But there's so many good online cosplay shops that commission! You can find good props online too. If you're interested, I'll try to post some here, but they usually block links here... Anyways, welcome to Korea!! |

AWESOME! Thanks you two! When I can get myself settled enough to play around with hobbies (right now schedule takes up pretty much all day and half my saturdays, so it's kinda awkward fight now). But I will definitely go check it out! Woot! And thank you for the heads up about the haggling. I forgot you could actually do that some place in Korea. :P
