Faraday- Wig looks great! Its hard to believe its a wig because it looks so much like her's!

LKD- Some friends of mine are actually going to be cosplaying Gaston's fangirls at a con this weekend

I'm trying to convince my friends to go as Gaston's fangirls when my boyfriend & I cosplay as Belle and Gaston.
They seem to be thinking about it.
I'm hoping I'm convincing enough. XD

Only thing I'd change is the sleeves. I don't think I'd want mine see-through.

@.@ my body overhaul is gonna have to wait just 1 more day- I feel like complete crap today. DX Stuff like this always comes up when I decide to workout. blarg.

Suzie: STOKED! Thank you very much! I hate myself so much right now cuz as I was unpacking I found the right color yarn for it XD FAIL! Oh well I can use it for other things. I just recovered 2 scarves, 2 hats, and 2 pair of bear ears I made last year XD It's so much fun to do when you have the time! <3 awesome possum.

ODP: Well the funny thing was they wanted things from the food booths that were most popular so Will and I basically ran behind the scenes to their managers and sat there for 5 minutes under the hot sun waiting for the food XD But that part of the show is the shortest ever! I was hoping there would be more of me in their deleted scenes on the box season, but alas nope :P

Miyu: My best guess for you is to find one at one of those salvation army sorta places or find really really good coupons to use for a new sewing machine. I am pretty bummed I can't fix my old costumes or update them since I lack the hand sewing skills and have no machine :P

ARGH I NEVER WANT TO SEW A RUFFLE AGAIN! >___<

I just finished the ruffle panel for Giselle's wedding dress.....it's only about 1/4 of the circumference of the dress and it gave me SOOOO much trouble! I can't imagine wanting to ever fill in the rest of the skirt @___@

I finished her sleeves as well....very poofy! =D I made them UBER big so I wouldn't have to totally remake them in case they were too small. I ended up having to take them in a notch. Yeah, I made them REALLY big XD

Her skirt overlay is also done....so now all I have left to do is the glitter designs on her bodice, overlay and sleeves, make her bow, sew the loops into the back of the bodice to make it a corseted back, add a hook-and-eye over the zipper on the skirt and more securely attach the ruffle skirt to the bottom skirt. I should have that all done by the deadline on Tuesday.....even if my weekend is totally booked. Yeah I'll be a busy bee tomorrow, Friday and Monday. Well, at least the wig is styled! =)

LKD: The only sneak peeks are what I've posted on my Facebook. I am already settled in front of my computer and actually about to head to bed for the evening so no pictures tonight, but I'll snap a cell-phone pic tomorrow before I take it off the dress form to sew in the corseting, promise!


Also, I noticed we mentioned Ren-Faires earlier! I plan to make Briar Rose and Belle's peasant dress for our local faire, among other costumes. Others I want to do for the faire include a Fable: The Lost Chapters character and the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba =) Everything I do has to have a short skirt, though. It's all dirt there so things get ruined. I wore Snow there one day last year and I wore an extra/spare skirt my sewing teacher had given me....it was icky by the end of the day >_< I'm still washing dirt out of my petticoat -_-'

The dirt is probably the only thing I'm worried about as far as the Ren Fest goes...XD Ours is old school..no concrete, all dirt and dust and mulch to walk on. I wish I had Disney girls who lived around here I could do all this fun stuff with. D: I do have a good friend at work who wants to be Aurora, but we've only talked about it for next year. XD
