becomeing Tan, but not permanently...

I am wanting to cosplay Ansem from Kingdom Hearts...
but the thing is...I am rather pale...

so...
I need suggestions for makeing myself very Tan and having whatever the product is have it not come off easily when i touch it, but not have it stay for longer than i need it (ie:i am back to my natural skin color after i am done with the Ansem Cosplay) ...
I am cosplaying paler people at some point too...so i cant be tan while cosplaying them...0_0

I will have to use it on my face neck and chest...nothing else though

for my Fran (see my gallery) I used Ben Nye cream foundation in Chinese-it worked fairly well, it did come off on other things a little, but not enough to make the makeup look smudgy or really mess it up at all. And yea, my natural color is my avatar ^^;;;

I still swear by Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs. With a little soap and water (and occasionally a bit of scrubbing), it comes off fairly easily. Biggest hint for this product: Moisturize before you apply it, so your skin won't absorb it so deeply.

I'll have to second the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs stuff. Coverage is quite good...I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it. I have a few clients who use/love it as well. Highly recommended.

You won't find Ben Nye products at a Wal-Mart. You'll need to goto a specialty store for that. However, you can find the Sally Hansen stuff at Wal-Mart and most drug stores (CVS, Walgreens, etc.).

I also reconmmend the ben nye products. My school's theater department used them a lot and we loved the colors and how easy it was to apply and blend on our skin. Even the boys liked it!

Too bad some girls stole the make up though, now we have nothing. ):

This is a dead thread from 2007. The original poster is no longer looking for an answer to their question.

This thread is still given to people who want answers to the same thing. I was just putting my two cents in. Thank you for assuming.

Hmm, anyone know what to do for like.. un-natural skin tones?

For example, like... Raven from Teen Titans or Road from D. Gray Man. They have gray skin.

I guess using face paint is possible but it sounds.... unpleasant to have to go around a whole day slathered in the stuff.

Does anyone know if there's any like way to combine color with foundation powder?

I'm planning a starfire cosplay, and ran across this wonderful cosplayer! I love her Idea for how she did her skin, and figured I would repost her great idea! (hope she doesn't mind!!!!!)

"The skin - Mehron Liquid Make-up for Face, Body, and Hair in orange - http://www.mehron.com/Liquid_Makeup_p/111.htm - I added it to a body lotion and then slathered it all over my skin like bright orange sunscreen!"

all credit goes to this talented woman- http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2471683/
