I bought mine from Spirit halloween. They're perfect! They're $50 though normally. I got mine on clearance at Spencers gift for half off right after halloween. But you should be able to buy them at any spirit store.
but don't wait for a clearance for the halloween store. They just close up. They don't sell off their remaining stuff. So if you find them elsewhere like I did, you may have a chance to get them cheaper. ^^

sorry some of the pics are quite blurry.

But I only have the skirt, glove toppers, chocker and mask to do. All little stuff. Now that the tops done, it'll be smooth sailing.

Done with all of the bows for Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter! I need to take pictures but once I do that i'll show progress pics. I need to resew all of the elastic on the Jupiter costume because my friend did not do a very carful job and it's all lumpy and i might remake the sailor Jupiter bust bow. other than that it's been smooth sailing!

YES!! I think that yellow wig fits sailor V perfectly. Maybe its because she's more like comic based. I like proper blond for Sailor Moon, but yellow really suits V. I think you really suit her too. You are gonna look supa! ^_^

Did you get the in joke with the announcement "Sailor V" which sounds more like "C'est La Vie" in the anime? ..I love all those extra details the writers come up with.

Oh, they always do that. I don't think that was a play on "C'est La Vie" until it got to PGSM....(IMHO anyway)

Well the amount of white fabric you'll need will be dictated by your pattern then, and I would add on an additional half yard or so (I like to have lots more than I need) for the gloves if you're making them as well.

For the bows, I think usually a yard is more than enough unless you're doing the Super, and the collar is about half a yard if I recall. The online pattern has dimensions, you'll want to check that. Are you planning on doing a circle skirt or a pleated skirt by hand or by a pattern?

I was going to do a pleated skirt, but i didn't think I needed a pattern for that. It seemed simple enough. I didn't even think anyone MADE a pattern for that!

Fabulosity there is a pattern for everything you just need to look for them. For you i would start by getting the pattern and then i would figure out what fabrics you would need and you can always ask one of the people who work at your fabric store to help they are a life saver sometimes!!

I totally agree with this. Especially if your modifying or making your own patterns, they're pretty good at figure out about how much you'll need if you show them a picture of what its for.

Also today I ended up at the second hand store and there was 5 yards of navy blue fabric, perfect for the school uniforms, for only $5! And the best part is I can make mine and my sisters out of it.
