Hey All!

I hope you're all excited about next year's Costume-Con in NJ! I'm the webmaster for CC29, and if there is any information that you would like to see posted on the website, please let me know.

I am working on a bunch of updates at the moment, so there will be more content coming soon!

Been a busy bee and a whole batch of updates and additions have been added to the website. New: Stage Info, Exhibits, Hat Competition, and Dealers pages. Updated: Programming and Con Suite pages.

Just a quick reminder that the deadline for design submissions for the Future Fashion Folio is October 1st, 2010. Which is coming up rather quickly. Be sure to get your designs in!

Just a quick thing - I think, if it were possible, it would be cool to have karaoke at the Friday Night Social. No biggie if you don't like the idea, or it's not feasible. Just a thought.

I think Karaoke when the theme is Broadway Musicals has the potential for all kinds of disaster.
Remember - most people cannot sing as well as they think they can.

True, there is the potential, but it can be really fun too... if it's limited to standards and fun songs. For KKon this year, I'm limiting the karaoke by just listing the songs I know people will know and enjoy (standards, show tunes, Disney, 80s songs, really popular pop songs from the past few years, rock ballads, etc.) with no obnoxiously slow songs that everyone butchers and bores with.

Anyway, it was just an idea.

Hope everyone had a safe and joyous Holiday Season! With the New Year, and CC29 fast approaching, we have a bunch of updates for you!

First off, if you have an interest in hosting or participating in a panel or workshop, send your ideas in by checking out the Programming Participant page, and then filling out the online form, or downloading the form (Word Doc).

Next, we would like to announce that Gordon Rose has agreed to MC the Historical Masquerade!

Video Masquerade deadlines have also been updated! Be sure to check the dates and keep those submissions coming in.

And lastly, we have posted some travel information for those visiting from out of town. Hopefully, it will help in finding your way to the biggest show this year!
