hmmwut... i would have rather gone to Mikomicore than PMX since i've always liked that better.. so i guess now it's just cancelled?

I would have liked to go also. Thanksgiving weekend was really iffy for me. I don't even know if I'll be in town that weekend because it's a "family" holiday. I may be busy doing my holiday shopping if I'm not out of town. I don't need to worry about those things now.
I like Mikomicore because it's one of my few cons that isn't a "press" convention. I can just kick back, relax, take photos (CSUN is an awesome place for photos compared to the other cons that we have in the LA area). I had no problem with the old September date when there weren't any other events to compete with (plus the extra hour of daylight). I hope they come back next year with a great convention and at a time of year that is more convenient for more people.

At-least the So.CA people have PMX next weekend (for those who are planning to attend) and then Anime Los Angeles is just 2 months away!

I wonder how much interest there would be in a "boo hoo mikomicore is postponed so lets compensate by having a gathering at balboa park" kinda thing. balboa is around CSUN right?
