Well, my "makeup artist" (aka my fiance) does any makeup for me so maybe with some makeup and contouring I could. XD

Improvement suggestions and tips would be much appreciated. Or just affirmation that I can do the crossplay.

Dr.Aiona: Would you mind gaining like 10 lbs for the part? That is if you gain weight in the right places. I'm an equally distributed person, but some people are pear shaped, apple shaped etc. So I think if you could gain a bit more weight for it, you'd be in good shape...you already look like Alfred in the face, except girlier haha. That vid did you good, the contouring made your nose and chin a little more prominent.

Belligerent: Yeah, you'd make a good younger tough-guy bishounen. You have pretty muscular arms so that's always a plus...and you don't have major boobage, you also have a trim waist. All pluses. So as long as you're not cosplaying an oiled gladiator, I'd say you're in pretty good shape too.

hiiiii all, this is specifically the thread that lured me into registering lol. so i'll jump right in cuz, we all wanna know a public opinion DON'T WE =)

i keep all my pictures on a different computer so this (and a few others like it) is all i have to post atm. "can i pass?". i'm not going to say my actual gender atm, it's a bit more self-serving to not say.

excuse the limited view of my face, i'll find a full body picture and post again soon! I KNOW THIS ONE IS NOT VERY DETERMINING!!!

Actually I'd say you look masculine as well... o-o; My first thought was masculine... but there are more effeminate features and could be really feminine... androgyny!

I haven't done any make-up or anything to my face when I took that picture while testing out my wig. I know that a quarter of my face is hidden due to wig, but it's just because I haven't gotten around to styling it yet.

@Melodicanth I think you could pass if you hide a bit your lips IMO they are the only thing that would make you fail at a crossplay, they're pretty full, round and kinda lushy and we all know that guys aren't known for those characteristics, your jawline is perfectly androgynous, so you fit for both female and males cosplays... Now I'll give it a shot... I've been interested in crossplay since I saw Card Captor Sakura (yeah you got me... I wanna crossplay Shaoran Li or Eriol Hiragisawa) and I'm not completely sure if I can pass as a guy (if not them... could you suggest any other?)

@acostory Its a little hard to see in the girl one, just because your face isnt too clear, but if I saw youd Id defintley assume that you were a girl! As for the guy picture its also quite passable, only you look like a pretty young boy. (But thats the same with me xD)

@Melodicanth Im not sure who exactly you are cosplaying, but you look cosplay passable :P In real life I would be able to tell you were a girl, but in cosplay Id know you were cosplaying. For you I would suggest to work on your eyes. Get a foundation powder thats darker than your natural skin tone and use it in the hollows of your eyes. Id also darken up your eyebrows and make them thicker. You could do a bit of contouring in your cheeks and to do that just suck in your cheeks and apply your darker foundation powder in the hollows of your cheeks. Hope that helps, its all very basic dude makeup tips!

Those are me finding angles to look like a guy. And i'm not wearing the costume at the moment, i'm in pajamas trying on the wig. Those pictures were taken like, two minutes ago.

And here are pictures of me about two hours ago when i was trying on my costume with the wig. My mom, a camera whore, had to take pictures.

In both of those pictures, i'm wearing my normal female makeup. So i have mascara and eyeliner on ^^; I wouldn't wear mascara or eyeliner while wearing this costume normally, but i would wear foundation and such (since i have bad acne, and it'd look craptastic in pictures without).
